OBJECTIVE
A content management system is software that keeps track of every piece of content on your Web site, much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them. Content can be simple text, photos, music, video, documents, or just about anything. A major advantage of using a CMS is that it requires almost no technical skill or knowledge to manage.
Joomla is a Content Management System (CMS) which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.

BOARDING AND LODGING:
Accommodation and boarding, if required, will be provided in the college campus on chargeable basis.
COURSE FEE AND REGISTRATION
Registration Fee ** Rs. 500/- (including Tax)
Accommodation and Boarding Rs.200/- per day (as in need)
** The registration fee includes course material, lunch and refreshment.
Demand Draft for the registration fee payable at Perundurai or Erode must be drawn in favour of “ IIP Cell grant-in-aid A/C”.
HOW TO APPLY
The applicants should send their applications in the specified format through their Principals / Sponsors to reach us on or before 31.01.17. If selected they should confirm their participation in time.

Kongu Engineering College (KEC) was established in the year 1984. DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEEERING:
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is offering BE Degree programme in CSE and ME Degree Programme in Computer Science and Engineering. The faculty of the department has vast experience in academia and industry. Besides teaching, the department is actively involved in industrial consultancy, and conducting training programmes for students and practising engineers.
ABOUT THE LOCATION:
The college is situated at Perundurai on the National Highway (NH 47) about 80 km from Coimbatore and 17 km from Erode. It is well connected by air, road and rail.
